Ron Norris: Member, Board of Advisors
Ron Norris is a seasoned semiconductor industry professional with more than 30 years of business management experience. Currently, Ron is Managing Director of VentureTech Alliance. VentureTech Alliance was formed in March 2001, as an investment management company focused exclusively on managing Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) investment funds. Its first fund of $50M, is called the Emerging Alliance Fund. Ron was formerly Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and Sales, at TSMC based at corporate headquarters in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan. Previously, he was President of TSMC, USA, based in San Jose, California.
Prior to TSMC, Ron served as Vice President and General Manager for Data I/O Corporation in Redmond, Washington, where he was responsible for profit and loss management for the company's Programming Systems Business Unit. Other positions include Senior Vice President of Digital Systems International, Redmond, Washington; Executive Vice President and COO of Microchip Technology, Inc., Chandler, Arizona; and Executive Vice President of Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation, of Cupertino, California, where he was based in Puyallup, Washington and Tokyo, Japan. Ron began his career at Texas Instruments and held several key executive management and engineering positions in both Dallas and Houston, Texas.
Ron holds a B.S. in Physics from Sam Houston State University and an M.S. in Physics from the University of Arkansas. Ron is currently on the Board of Directors for Newport Opticom and Quicksilver Technology.

Marc V. Fastiggi: Member, Board of Advisors
Marc V. Fastiggi has over 20 years experience in information systems security and the marketing of enterprise security products. His responsibilities have spanned intelligence analysis and operations, Federal criminal investigations, computer systems security research and operations, and IT security software development, marketing and sales. He has held positions across a broad spectrum of organizations, including the Central Intelligence Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Sun Microsystems and RSA Security.
Marc holds a BS degree in Engineering from UCLA and MS in Computer Science from Arizona State University. He is currently an independent consultant advising early stage technology companies in the areas of new product development and marketing strategy. Prior to his current endeavor, Marc was VP of Technology at CrossLogix, Inc, a leading provider of rule-based authorization systems, from 1998 to Jan 2002. Between 1989 and 1998 Marc performed in key roles as: Director of Technology Marketing at RSA Security, VP of Technology at Securix/DynaSoft AB, and both the Manager of Computer Security, and Information Systems Security Architect at Sun Microsystems. Between 1980 and 1985, Marc held positions within the CIA's Directorates of Intelligence and Operations, as well as Special Agent in the FBI, handling foreign counterintelligence and counter-terrorism.

Denny Miller: Member, Board of Advisors
Denny Miller is currently President of Denny Miller Associates, Inc., a Washington DC based government relations firm. Denny Miller Associates, Inc. represents clients across a broad range of sector areas including high technology, the Internet, biotechnology, defense and aerospace, transportation, natural resources and international trade. The firm’s mission is to assist its clients by developing and executing legislative strategies, identifying market opportunities within the U.S. federal government and keeping their clients on the leading edge of information in the rapidly changing world of politics, policy, and regulatory matters in United States capitol. Prior to founding Denny Miller Associates, Inc., he served as a senior assistant to the late Senator Henry M. Jackson (D-WA) for 16 years, the last six years as his chief of staff. He assisted Senator Jackson in his positions as Chairman of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, ranking member of the Armed Services Committee, and senior member of the Governmental affairs and Intelligence Committees.
Denny also served as a professional staff member of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, specializing in energy policy and environmental, Indian, and youth employment issues. He was the founder of Scientific Marking Materials Company of Seattle and is a former U. S. Army officer (artillery). He received a B.S. in natural resources management from Oregon State University, an M.S. in water pollution biology from the University of Washington (Seattle) and an M.P.A. (masters in public administration) from the University of Washington.

James K. Anderson: Member, Board of Advisors
Jim is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Adaptis Inc., a business and technology outsourcing company serving the health care industry (www.adaptisinc.com). Mr. Anderson has wide-ranging experience in the computer, financial, educational, and healthcare fields. He started his career as a Special Agent in the U.S. Army Intelligence Corp. After serving in the U.S. Army he joined Univac (now Unisys), where he was project leader on several key projects involving pioneering computer systems for the financial and aerospace industries and the military. He later set up the outsourcing system for Computer Sciences Corp., one of the first computer consulting, systems integration and outsourcing companies in the U.S. From 1974 to 1981, Anderson worked as CIO and then group senior vice president of California Federal Savings and Loan, where he developed a new state-of-the-art information system to allow the thrift to efficiently manage an overwhelming volume of transactions. In 1981, he became president of a Fortune 500 diversified financial services company and in 1984 served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer. Jim has served on the board of directors of numerous businesses, civic, arts and educational organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Everlast Worldwide, Inc. (www.everlast.com). He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Northwest Hospital and Medical Center, a hospital and medical center in Seattle, Washington and is on the Governing Committee of the Washington State Hospital Association.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Whitman College, with additional post degree studies at Georgetown University, Pepperdine University, University of Georgia and the University of Puget Sound.

Christopher Burgess: Member, Board of Advisors
Christopher Burgess is currently a Senior Security Advisor to the Chief Security Officer of Cisco Systems, where he focuses on intellectual property strategies. Prior to joining Cisco, Christopher served as a senior national security executive for more than 30 years within the Federal Government. Christopher has lived and worked in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Central Europe and Latin America, where he acquired a deep understanding of the people, cultures and business practices. Christopher is the co-author of "Secrets Stolen, Fortunes Lost," a study published in June 2006 by Corporate Security Officer magazine.

Jose Antonio Rios: Member, Board of Advisors
Jose Antonio Rios is a proven leader in the telecommunications, media and entertainment industries. He brings more than 30 years of international experience and leadership to Vadium and in his career has worked in senior executive capacities at such leading multi-national corporations as Global Crossings, Telefonica, S.A., Hughes Electronics and the Cisneros Group. Mr. Rios recently retired as International President of Global Crossing, where he led operations in more than 20 countries throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia. In addition to his role as International President, Mr. Rios served as the company’s chief administrative officer and as chairman of the boards of Global Crossing Latin America and Global Crossing UK.
Prior to joining Global Crossing in 2001, Mr. Ríos served as president and CEO of Telefónica Media and chairman of Atento where he played a major role in the successful Terra/Lycos deal that created the world's third largest Internet portal, and incorporated the Bertelsmann Group. Mr. Ríos was one of seven members of the corporate executive committee of Telefónica S.A. and a corporate general director. Additionally, Mr. Ríos served as the founding president and chief executive officer of DIRECTV™ Latin America, where he was responsible for the planning, development, and launch of DIRECTV, a pioneer in digital direct-to-home satellite television entertainment in Latin America, with more than 1.6 million subscribers in 27 countries. During his four-year tenure, he was also vice president of Hughes Electronics and a permanent member of that company's management committee.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ríos served as the chief operating officer and corporate vice president of the Cisneros Group of Companies for 13 years. He was a founding member of its Global Executive Committee, where together with Gustavo and Ricardo Cisneros, Mr. Ríos led the globalization of the Cisneros Group, which, today is ranked by Forbes Magazine as one of the largest private enterprises in the world.
Mr. Ríos serves on several corporate, industry and philanthropic boards. Currently, he is a director on the board of Claxson Interactive Group Inc., where he also serves as chairman of the audit and compensation committees. He also served as chairman of the supervisory board of Endemol Entertainment, one of the world's leading entertainment production companies, based in Holland and with operations in 28 countries. Mr. Ríos is a director of the prestigious Fundación País Digital (Digital Nation Foundation), a Chilean organization founded by Agustin Edwards, owner and publisher of the leading Chilean daily newspaper "El Mercurio." Fundación País Digital is dedicated to promoting "digital culture" and technology in Chile and throughout Latin America. In addition, Mr. Ríos serves as a board member of the Inter-American Dialogue's Latin America Advisor. The Advisor serves a unique membership of top public- and private-sector officials invested in Latin America's development and future.
