Vadium Technology and Ireland’s Howe Systems Announce
Channel Partner Agreement

TACOMA, WA and Arklow, County Wicklow, IRELAND– September 10, 2007 – Vadium
Technology, Inc. a leading provider of easy to use, unbreakable data security and privacy
solutions and Howe Systems, one of Europe’s leading providers of secure software applications
and technology management services, today announced an alliance to deliver Vadium’s
AlphaCipher unbreakable data encryption solutions to government and corporate clients in the
United Kingdom, Europe and beyond.

“We are honored to form this relationship with Vadium Technology,” said David Howe, Howe
Systems founder and chief executive officer. “With Vadium’s AlphaCipher encryption solutions
we can bring the highest levels of security and privacy to our customers around the world. After
conducting a thorough investigation of the AlphaCipher Digital One‐Time Pad, we are certain
that this represents the future for easy to use unbreakable encryption for both data in motion
and at rest.” Based in Arklow, County Wicklow, Ireland, Howe Systems has been delivering
services that help clients manage and execute their technology risk and reward equations for
over twenty years.

With AlphaCipher, data can be stored or transmitted anywhere because it is impossible to
decrypt without the key. Based on 20 years of research and development, Vadium’s patent
pending AlphaCipher implements a true digital One‐Time‐Pad (“OTP”) cipher. In use since 1917,
the OTP is accepted as the only truly unbreakable encryption system. However, the same
characteristics that make OTP unbreakable have also made OTP solutions impractical to deploy
except in limited circumstances typically associated with the intelligence community—until now.
Vadium has solved these technical hurdles to produce the AlphaCipher Encryption System, the
first easy to use unbreakable encryption system that can be deployed across a team, a
department, an enterprise and beyond.

“We are very pleased to announce this alliance with Howe Systems,” said Wolfgang
Hammersmith, Vadium Technology’s co‐founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Howe Systems
has consistently delivered the highest levels of customer service to government and corporate
clients throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. We are confident that Howe Systems will
bring tremendous value to both Vadium and our clients.”
